In its first three months as an EU member, Bulgaria has seen average residential property prices rise by over 9 per cent.
Spain, Britain's favourite second-home location, recorded a 1.8 per cent drop over the same period.
Tahir Ali of Bulgaria Revealed said, "Nearly a third
of Bulgaria's buyers are foreign nationals: not only British but Irish, German,
Italian and Russian."
