The town of Primorsko is located 26 km to the south of Sozopol and 52 km to the south of Bourgas.

It lies on the Kjupria cape, jutting out between Stamopoulo Bay and the Diavolski (Devil’s) Bay. Primorko is famous with its magnificent nature. It is surrounded by the forests of the Strandja Mountain. The beach strip is 10 km long and has fine golden yellow sands. It is one of the longest and most beautiful beaches on the bulgarian Black Sea coast.

Southward from the town are the Ropotamo River and the Maslen Cape which wild and unforgettable beauty attracts the tourists with its fiords.

It is encompassed by two picturesque bays which form also the two spacious beaches of Primorsko(each 4 km.long). It offers serene coast with amber-like sand, with many dunes, crystal-clean and calm sea, with shallow sloping sandy beaches. All this features make the Bulgarian Southern Black Sea Coast an attractive place for Bulgarian and foreign holiday-makers.

At a short distance from Primorsko is the most beautiful natural reserve area - Ropotamo river,with its attractive rocky formation lions head, Arkutino, white and yellow water lilies and snake island. Another neighbouring reserve is Maslen nos, with Sanctuary of the holy wedding between God-Mother and God-Sun on the holy Mountain of Trace, serpent lair and craggy arduous shore. Near at hand in the northern bay are magnificent conditions for underwater fishing.
